Course Description
In this lively, one-day workshop, multi-disciplinary teams and their leaders are facilitated through our Risk Identification and Mitigation process. The deliverables of the Workshop are Risk Mitigation plans around either project delivery or delivery of unit-level business plans, including critical components such as production forecasts.
Workshop Objectives:
• To deliver confidence that the client is taking the right actions to deliver on performance commitments.
• Define the risks associated with those commitments so that they can be effectively managed.
• Build and utilize the RIMW framework to maximize expected value while avoiding catastrophes.
• Define and deliver reliable basic risk mitigation processes to deliver business results.
Workshop Overview:
• Business Unit, Project Plan, or Project refinement.
• Identification of key risks and issues utilizing structured brainstorming.
• Boston Square two-step methodology to deliver a prioritized matrix of the key risks that are ranked based on their manageability.
• Gap Analysis to identify shortcomings in existing work flows
• Development of Action Plans to mitigate existing gaps. Each gap described with a clear owner, timing and performance milestones.
Workshop Deliverables:
• Clarity on [ b]direction[/b] through internal and external challenge; a ranked & prioritized risk assessment and action plans to manage risks with clear accountabilities.
